- old sac will be removed and any remnants cleaned from inside the barrel

- new sac will be cut to length and attached with shellac

- cost of sac to be involved varies slightly and will affect the const

- feed and nib will be removed from section and all components cleaned

- feed and nib will be reinserted in section and reseated for best flow

- if tubes are involved (as in Vacumatics, Ink-Vues, Skylines, etc) these will be cleaned as well

- old clip or clip pieces will be removed utilizing best inner cap puller made

- new clip will be installed using correct period parts

- cost of replacement clip not included and varies depending upon design and materials
